Hot spot??

Do dogs get hot spots?? My dog has been licking a spot just before his tail starts right in the center. There's no bug or cut its not swollen or tender.

Yes they get hot spots. You might try some 3X antibiotic and hydrocortisone creme on it. I use Walmart's brand.
Check those anal glands while you're back there
They can get itchy and sore and make your dog lick areas around there.

I'll give the first two a shot. The vet can check the other option I'll leave things like that to the pros..

Could also be a flea allergy reaction.
