Shoot Him........... lol Seriously I have had dogs for years and only medicated them with Ivermectrin for heartworms. This has kept the fleas and ticks off at a good rate. Remember that nothing works 100%. Also get rid of any bedding that may harbor the pest. (I mean the fleas, not the dogs  )

use a top spot treatment, and or Adam's flea and tick mist. Adam's also makes a home and carpet spray to take care of them where the dog lives......

Check with your vet, but comfortis pill has worked wonders for our flea issues. Granted, it's not cheap, but it's highly effective. Don't know if you can use it in such a young pup though.

My vet gave me a Sentinel chewable for our 9 week old pup. He didn't have fleas, but Sentinel works great to get rid of them (I've used it in the past for cooties  ) and it takes care of several different intestinal worms and heartworm. One stone, three birds :D

I use Advantix 55 as I only have 3 dogs. Works great. $80.00 for 6 months in Canada.

Are we talking 'Fleas' or ..'Lice'?...
Or do some on here think they are the same?
The treatment for a 9 week old can mean all the difference (imo) ,but I aint no vet.

I was perfectly happy with Advantix II but I tried Seresto collar this year made by the same company and will certainly buy another even without the $20 rebate.

Just realize that Revolution controls 2 dog ticks but not deer ticks(lyme)
