Insurance? How many carry it for your pet(s)?
Re: Insurance? How many carry it for your pet(s)?
I did a lot of research and decided to go with VPI. Having a GSP puppy, it was the best decision I could have made. I have used it twice. The first time I got all but my 100 deductible and the second time I got all but 4 dollars back. The first bill was 384 and was stomach issues from something she ate and the second she stepped on a piece of glass and cut her pad really good. Hope this helps.

I prefer to save money. With any kind of insurance you pay out more in premiums then you get back in refunds - unless the dog has a major trauma.Save that monthly premium amount and normally you will be ahead. Whether it be with casinos or insurance , the "house" normally wins.
PS Many people don't really know what their insurance level covers . "i thought it would cover that " is a common cry.

If your going to go with insurance you can stop looking when you get to Petplan USA. They are one of the best. Do the research and you'll find they have the best reputation and reviews.

It's like any insurance. "Peace of mind". Glad you have it, but hope you never have to use it. I have Petplan USA and you can customize it anyway you like with coinsurance and or deductible. You make your monthly payment as little or as much as you like. I like it for catastrophic illnesses or injuries where a savings plan could be wiped out in one single blow leaving you with nill till the next unexpected things pops up.
To each his own though and it may not be for everyone.
