ive always taken mine to the vet seems like its pretty painless to the pup my vet charges $75 to remove it and bout $15 for the cream you have to apply daily for about a wk or so

It might not even be cherry eye. The whites are red in both eyes on a couple dogs.

Cherry eye is a structural deformity where the conjunctiva protrudes, usually blocking the tear duct. If you have two dogs with the same thing in both eyes, several other things come to mind. Pinkeye, chemical irritation and Lyme's disease are all indicated by what you are describing. Any chance of a picture?
Isotonic eyewash couldn't hurt at this point.

You would no if it was cherry eye with out a doubt, sounds like something else to me. if it is cherry eye no biggy, 50-100$

While training this past summer a few of the dogs, after running through the weeds, would come in with red/irratated eyes. Could be an allergic reaction.
