Need recommendation for ACL surgeon in IL

So my vet determined that my 5yr old EP has a ligament injury and said she will most likely require surgery.
The only problem is that he is not board certified and I really want to make sure to get this done right since this is a serious choice I am making.
Any recommendations on a experienced surgeon in Illinois would be greatly appreciated! (I don't mind travelling around either)

I have no experience with this but I know my vet sends most specialty issues to the University of Illinois Vetrinary Teaching Hospital in Urbana. I found this contact on their website: Small animal :: 217.333.5300

There is a vet hospital in Aurora that is great. They have a couple of surgeons on their staff that do great work.

i know of some good docs in springfield and jerseyville, but both would be a good drive for you.
