another neutering question(s)

I am looking to get my lab neutered in the next few months. Does it take long for them to be up and running afterward?

Also, would it be better to wait until the season is completly over for him? I can't hunt for the next month and was wondering if i shoul try to squezze the surgery in now and then get him back on birds at the end of february and march? Or does it not matter much?

males heal up really really fast, i would think a month is plenty of healing time

If were my dog, I would finish the season first. One month is not too long to wait.
