Gums inflamed and red

Post by GSPVIZ » Sat Dec 19, 2009 6:08 pm

My GSP's gums are red and inflamed. Any ideas what could be the issue?

How old is your dog?
Teeth/gum problems are almost for sure with an older dog.
Wiggle those teeth.Any loose ones?
My 12 year old just had 6 fall out / pulled out by the vet.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

He is almost 4. Teeth are not loose at all. He always has bad breath!

I always look at his teeth and they are normally not like this. This morning the one side is not inflamed but the other is still inflamed and redish.

I think he needs a good cleaning!
