What kind of wormer?

Post by Blade » Mon May 26, 2008 9:56 pm

I was wondering what brand of wormer everyone uses for their puppies and the female while she is nursing. I use the Drs. Foster & Smith "Pro Wormer II" A lot cheaper than Nemex and works pretty good. Just curious what everyone else uses. Would be nice to find another product that works good that I could buy locally without breaking the bank account.

From the Fosters and Smith web site.
Pro Wormer 2 = "Ingredients: 4.54 mg of Pyrantel Base as Pyrantel Pamoate per ml. "
...
Nemex II = "Ingredients: 4.54 mg of Pyrantel Base as Pyrantel Pamoate per ml."
Seems to me that it's exactly the same thing as Nemex II and you're getting it at a good price because you're not paying for the Nemex name.
