Do you belong to the NRA
I believe the National Rifle Association does a lot for us gun owners and hunters, from fighting for our gun rights to spending millions supporting shooting activities.
This being said, I am always amazed at how many folks are not a member of the NRA. Hence, the reason for the poll.
Best of wishes to all,

Its ok Buckeye. Thats your right.
We will try to keep it going to protect all of our second amendment rights. I don't care for the mailings either but if that is what it takes to support the organizations activities so our dues are reasonable then I will put up with it till something better comes along.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!
Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Hope you don't mind, but I added the "No (Other)" option. While the two "Yes" options don't get into reasons why people are members (they just say that they are) all the "No" options have some sort of reasoning behind them. And there's only 3 available reasons, which is probably too restrictive, so I thought the (Other) could be the catch-all.
I, for one, am not a member of the NRA, and voted as "other." I may join sometime, but don't have any real plans to do so right this moment. I do what I can on a local level for now, as I'm sure plenty of people do. I believe I have family members who are members of the NRA.
And, I do have a comical critique of the NRA. They should have named the organization the NFA (National Firearm Association) because I'm sure a lot of shotgunners are a little confused as to why they should support a "rifle" club.

No, but I am in the process of getting my CWP and am seriously considering joining the NRA..... Can anyone make any recommendations as to why it would be a good idea?
