I use the Beretta 391A for everything. It the only gun I own. If I could get my wife interested in hunting it might be easier to get her blessing on getting an O/U.

Blessing for an O/U ??? Your going at it all wrong..... Always leave the house with your guns in a hard case...or at least the hard case. Those rigid hard cases look the same full or empty. Leave empty return full. Trust me it works great.  "pear"

Or get a big safe that only you know the combination to, to "keep the kids safe." then when they ask how many are in it, just say "not sure, people give me a lot of guns when they don't want em anymore."

I like the remmington 1100 I have. Got passed to me from my uncle i believe its around 25-30 years old. Works great everytime.

Im looking into a new one and i like the benelli brand but not there look. There shell release is ugly plus no o/u's. Im a big fan of o/u's.

I think im goin for the Beretta Ultra light.

I have never found a good deal on Gun Broker. Besides there were only 4 listed. Only one new in box and buy the time you pay the shipping and then the FFL dealer for the transfer is way to expensive.

Well, I clicked Remington, because I use an 1100 LT 20 ga. a lot for bird hunting. One of my favorite guns isn't even listed though, which is an Ithaca featherweight model 51 semi-auto 12 ga. I bought the Ithaca when I was 16, a LONG time ago. I liked the light weight, and my dad used a Ithaca model 37 pump. Years ago I sent the barel to a gunsmith to have it retro-fitted for screw in choke tubes. I use a Mossberg 835 3.5 inch magnum for goose and turkey hunting, and have a fully rifled barrel for it too for local deer hunting.

I use my Rem. 1187 Light Contour for almost everything and also have an older stevens pump that I refinished. My only knock on the Remingtons lately is there blueing leaves much to be desired. My 1187's blueing sucks.

Got a few others I can also miss pretty well with!

I have had the best times of my life behind a Beretta 20ga 26" O/U Blackwing. It is carried all day long like it was never there. I did have the stock shorted and had the beads changed to match my other guns. It is fast, light, and it just feels right. I can't think of a time, except for dove hunting, where I'd have gained by having a third shot. I wonder why Beretta wasn't on the list with all the guns they have out there for our sport?

Reasons for more than two shells.....five shots, five quail on a covey rise 1987 south of Colorado City, Tx. with a 12 ga. Remington 1100. I've since changed to a 20 ga. Benelli Montefeltro and sometimes a Browning Superposed Lightning 20 ga.

Gauges are kind of like waist sizes, I still wear a 34, but 36's often are more comfortable.

Illegal in Illinois. Two in the mag, one in the chamber, maximum here. As for the doubles, I'd rather just take a max of two quail off a covey rise and then let the dog work some more.

How do you like the straight-grip (English style) stock on the Bobwhite? I've shouldered it a few times in Gander but can't get used to the grip.

The last 4 out of 5 have been Remington's......

I LOVE GAS AUTOS......

My buddy's 5 lb Ugartachea sxs in 20 gauge hurts with anything more than 7/8 oz., and even then gives me a rap on the cheek when I fire the right barrel that I find disconcerting.

Had a Beretta 687L for 6 months and never could quite get the hang of it. I know I shoot better with 7 lbs minimum.

I shoot short magnums with my 1187 at roosters, and don't feel a thing.

I use a Benelli,
I also own a Remington that I got when I was about 15
a Savage O/U that I got when I was about 12
I also own a Charles Daly that I bought for my son. I bought it because it was so inexpensive but I am very impressed with the gun. We have shot hundreds of rounds through his Daly 12 ga. It has never misfired, looks great and is very light weight. If your on a budget or not I think its a great shotgun. Semi auto for around $300.00

I have a Benelli Super Black Eagle I and II. Neither get used like they used to. I don't duck hunt much anymore.

Two Browning Citori's. This is a gun I have bought and sold many times over the years. Don't use them at all, but always own at least one.

Franchi and Benelli Montefeltro are both fun to shoot skeet with.

Personal favorite is a 20 ga Ruger Red Label.

My boys both like the CZ Redhead. It doesn't get used much, but it's there for them.

Here's mine:

Birds:
Remington Sportsman 48 16 gauge
A.H. Fox (Field Grade) SxS 16 gauge
Fox Model B SxS 20 gauge
Tikka 512S O/U 12 gauge

Geese/Ducks:
Mossberg 835 12 gauge

I also have about 7 others I know about that don't use much, and probably a few others I can't remember...

I do want one more - a Browning Citori 525 Field in 16 gauge. Maybe I'll get one this fall - I know you can't see it but I'm actually drooling a little thinking about it.

For upland birds everyone talked me into buying a O/U so I went with a Charles Daly 106 12g.

Kind'a wish I'd went with a Charles Daly auto, good guns life time warranty free shipping both ways!!

I have been shooting the same Mossberg 500 for 20 years. I can still kill birds with it, so I can't talk myself into a new gun. Although I have been looking at a Charles Daly waterfowl gun. Price sure looks pretty good.

OK you can add that Citori 525 field in 16 gauge to my list, I bought one last week. Happy birthday to me! OK well that's not for a couple of months yet, but the 16's are hard enough to find that when I found one I had to pounce on it. As a bonus I was lucky enough to get to pick from a couple of them, so I got one with what I think is nice wood to boot.

Winchester 1200...pump..My dad bought me my first shotgun when I was about 13..a winchester pump. I used it for over 20 years for everything from upland, waterfowl, squirrels and rabbits and never had a problem. So, about 2 years ago, my wife bought me a new winchester pump, but this one is in camo. It felt like I never changed guns. Once again, birds and more.
