Reminton 1100 barrel wanted

Post by tommyboy72 » Sat Aug 25, 2007 7:40 pm

I just traded for an older model Remington 1100 with a plain barrel and a fixed modified choke. I was wondering if anyone might tell me the dirt cheapest place to get a replacement barrel with the Remchoke system and chokes that is ribbed. Thank you.

You might try ebay as well.

Forget eBay. their new policy prohibits:

Any of the following items, including those that are required for a gun to fire: silencers, converters (items that can be used to give a firearm automatic capability), kits that can be used to create a firearm, barrels, slides, cylinders, magazines, firing pins, choke tubes, trigger assemblies, potato guns and cannons, flares, flare launchers, flare guns, flare gun receivers, short barrels and any illegal firearm-related items.

Please don't use eBay anymore.

If it is pre 1976 the newer barrels won't fit. Letter in the serial number will tell.

I couldn't agree more with you! Closed my ebay account and refuse to do any business with companies that shove west coast anti gun values down our throats.
I have no problem with the illegal stuff or retro stuff that will make something illegal but draw a line where completely legal items are prohibited.

They simply don't want our business which is a right they enjoy and was won with GUNS!

You can also post a wanted ad in the classifieds over at Shotgunworld.com. I just got a barrel for my Beretta from a guy on there, great price.

I don't like tubes but I think rather than get a whole new barrel, I'd check with Birley about installing them in the barrel you have.
