I was just wondering how much you pay for a box (25) of the standard 28gram 6 shot in 12 guage. Here in the UK prices have gone up recently i'm now paying £3.50 a box(25) or £33.00 for 250. They say the price rises are due to the price of lead. I'm very interested how much your paying over the pond
regards

2-3/4 or 3 dram equivalent, 1-1/8 oz target loads are still US$5.00 per box of 25.
Best regards, Greg J.

I used to be able to get them at $3.19 per box, now I have to pay $3.99 per box. . . I do usually box a box and a couple more and use my unlimited supply of Gander Mountain (spend $50, get $10 off coupons) from Pheasants Forever.
How much for shells?

In Dallas, TX of the better brands Winchester AA and Remington STS, the lowest recent price I have seen is $5.49 per box of 25. At Bass pro yesterday 25lbs of shot was $39.99.

$5.49 for premium loads (Win AA, Rem STS), otherwise you can get the Estates for $3.99 catching a sale, or Federals for just about $4.49.
I've been getting the Remington STS shells, but I also plan on reloading soon. I've got a TON of hulls saved, and the premium load hulls (AA's and STS's) can be loaded 10 times or more.
The price of lead shot has gone up considerably in the past year, just about 33% at the local Gander Mtn.

I shoot 1.25 oz. "high base" Winchester or Federals for pheasants. They are $8.99 here for 2.75 in.
