Recently bought a Shotkam to improve my shooting. It is a great tool. I found I was stoping swing with my light 5.5 lb 16ga. Shotkam has a $100.00 off sale for fathers day. 30 day money back guarantee.

Oldbeek, is your 16 gauge a Franchi?

My 16 is a Valmet Lion with fixed chokes. Easy to carry but alas I have decided I am to slow to use skeet anymore on quail. California requirement to use steel has almost priced me out on ammunition. My wife bought me a beautiful Citori Gran which I was reluctant to use because with age I do fall down some. I am using it now with mod and full chokes. Since using the Shotkam I have gone from missing singles frequently to knocking out doubles consistently. I found my swing is better with a 6.5 lb gun and also I was leading to far.

Oldbeek, a Friend sent me some of his shotcam videos from this past season hunting mearns and gambels quail in AZ. He is an outstanding shot and the videos were way cool. He took two crossing birds with one shot in one of them.

I checked out the product since your post prompted me and did not see a barrel clamp mounting bracket listed for 16 gauge.

Do they make one or did you use a 12 or 20 to mount yours?

Oldbeek,

You can’t take it with you, get out there and use that Citori!

Says the guy who finds reasons to leave his Citori 525 in the locker every chance I get. :D

I am shooting 15 rounds every day in my front yard. Thought I was getting to easy hitting every clay for 2 days in a row. Went out yesterday and missed 14 out of 15. My back was tight, but I shot over them, under them, to far in front and to far behind them. 2 looked that where the shot was placed, they should have broke. Nice to know exactly why I am missing.

It's a lot of fun to paint those stainless steel clay's black and throw them for your friends! :D
