My 16 is a Valmet Lion with fixed chokes. Easy to carry but alas I have decided I am to slow to use skeet anymore on quail. California requirement to use steel has almost priced me out on ammunition. My wife bought me a beautiful Citori Gran which I was reluctant to use because with age I do fall down some. I am using it now with mod and full chokes. Since using the Shotkam I have gone from missing singles frequently to knocking out doubles consistently. I checked out the product since your post prompted me and did not see a barrel clamp mounting bracket listed for 16 gauge.
Do they make one or did you use a 12 or 20 to mount yours? The 12 clamp will fit the 16 with 1 extra mount pad.
