Browning Citori 20ga - year 1982 - fixed chokes -INFO PLEASE

Post by SHaRPS » Wed Nov 08, 2017 11:29 am

Is anyone familiar with this shotgun? Here is what i know - It is a 20ga and in pristine condition. Made in 1982. No chokes so I am wondering what the 2 fixed barrels are - any idea? I believe its a 26" barrel but may be 28", definitely not any longer. I am wondering what a good buying price would be as well.

I have an 84'. On the side of the barrel when to break it open, I believe there are asterisks. The number of Asterisks tell you the choke. Check on the Browning website. Not sure of value, but mine is priceless. Hardly ever misses. I am not that good, the gun is.

Here are 4 pages of 20 ga citoris on gunbroker. The one you're looking at sounds like a miroku built model. I bought a nice used one couple of years ago for $850.

The Citori was designed by Miroku some years after Browning and Miroku begun their relationship.
The Citoris were sold by Browning, but the same design Marketed under the Miroku mark.
I’ve owned both.
Miroku makes them to this day, including the 725.
