Airplane friendly case

Post by bmcox86 » Mon May 14, 2012 9:38 pm

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on gun cases good for flying with, I need it to hold a shotgun and a rifle and maybe a side arms. Was thinking of a pelican case? Cabelas brand knock off? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Pelican or Storm cases are probably the best. They arent cheap, but they work well.

I bought a Bone Collector and it is the best I have ever owned. Comes with pressure relief valve and you won't find one that is more secure. I paid $319.00 for mine and you can probably find them cheaper now that they have been out for quite awhile now.

I have & love the cabelas case with the wheels& luggage rack. its well worth the $$$$ esp when your plane is leaving at the other end of the airport in 3 minutes. it went to argenta dove hunt & was the only survivior of the 3 cases that left new :) it made it back home with only a few scratches. the others were replaced before we left there.

Aluminum cases get the biggest recommendations over on the doublegunshop forum for very expensive guns.
