Zoli Shotguns

Post by mojavejohn » Wed Mar 14, 2012 5:06 pm

I found a Zoli shotgun for sale today. It is just about everything I am looking for. 20G, sxs, and double triggers. The only thing that it has that I don't care for is fixed chokes that are open cylinder, (not interchangeable).

First, does anyone know anything about these guns? I looked them up on-line and they sound like a high quality import from Italy.

Second, can I have interchangeable chokes machined into the gun?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I hope yours does not cost as much as the ones I checked out. I would be afraid to scratch it.

Hey Jim, this is a used gun, they are asking $800.00. This price is right in my ballpark. I know what ya mean though, not only could I not afford an top shelf gun NIB, but where I hunt, I probably wouldn't want to take a new one either.

If my memory serves me right there are two different Zoli`s. One expensive and one cheap. Be sure you know which is which before you buy.

If it is Antonio Zoli run for it, if its Angelo Zoli don't buy it. Angelo went bust over 20 years ago.

Antonio Zoli guns are very nice.

I bought a Zoli 20 sxs 25 years ago. I only had it for a month when someone broke into my house and stole it and another grouse gun. About 15 years ago, I found out who that someone was through a friend. The guy is in the Ohio State Pen for another series of robberies. What goes around, comes around.
