In training, I want to switch over from my 209 primer pistol, to my 20 gauge. I don't want to use live rounds and poppers are pricey. I have heard of a primer insert, that would be an alternative to poppers. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, have any good or bad thoughts/experiences with them, or maybe have a recommendation or link to share for purchase? Thanks.
I didn't find a lot with a Google search, but I did find this one:

Lion country supply has what your looking for.
Re: Primer inserts for 20 gauge
You have what you looking for and it's almost free. Take a fired 20ga hull and drill a 1/4" hole thru the primer pocket. Primers slip in and come out very easy.

This is the one I use, it ejects the primers and NOT the insert. Been using it for quite a few years now and wouldn't be without it.

Those really look nice. Lucky I haave a 410 if I got them I don't have a 12ga or a 20ga anymore. I would get a set of those, not quite so expensive as I though. Cures my one problem with used hulls too. Twenty shots or so and you need new hulls, the base isn't strong enough and starts to concave badly.
