Another new Verona

Post by omega58 » Mon Aug 29, 2005 11:29 am

I bought an o/u a few months ago and liked it so much that I decided I'd go look at the Verona semi-auto at Gander Mountain. They had it on clearance for $249 and all the clearance guns were $50 off, so $199.00 for a new semi-auto!!

My wife actually told me to get it!! :D

I took it Saturday and planned on shooting 5-stand, so I only took my Mod choke. . .5 stand closed, so I hit the skeet course just to put some shells through it. First round (gun up 18), next two gun down and shot 14 and then a 20. . .which ties my high score. This gun pulls up great and is only 6 1/2 lbs.

Katies Dad, if you like your Verona o/u, you should pick this up, great gun at an even better price!! I have put 150 rounds through it without a problem, I know 150 ain't much, but I can only shoot so much.

Yes, I have a new love for cleaning. . .I use that "Gun Scrubber" stuff, it's like magic! Just don't get it in your eyes!
