Ruger Gold Label

Post by Greg Jennings » Wed Jun 08, 2005 2:34 pm

Has anyone handled a Ruger Gold Label SxS yet?

Any ideas on where to get one at a good price?

Hey Greg I have, last fall got to use one in 12 ga. actually hit a rooster with it and I've never been really good with a sxs.I liked it if your a red label fan they are what you want.As far as price I'm not sure where to shop other than the most common sellers

I haven't handled or shot one myself, but what I have read on other forums has been good. Only negatives I have heard is on price & quality of wood.

Thanks Guys, I appreciate it.

I don't shoot a SxS well myself. But I love the feel and the tradition.

As long as I don't have a referee marking down every miss, I'd like to shoot one.

The guy who let me shoot his wouldn't tell what he paid, but I wouldn't think they would be close to Silver Piegons.I was very impressed with the wood either never actually have been with Rugers wood.
