Ruger 10/22 hot lips loader?

I was looking at buying on of those butler creek hotlips loaders because when loading those magazines at -0*c can the bullets become little ice cubes and is killer on the fingers. I have one steel lips mag and 3 standard mags and was wondering 1) how well do those loaders work and 2) would they also work on standard ruger mags.

I have several 25 round clips that I use the loader on. It works good and makes loading the high capacity clips fast. I don't use my 10 round clips anymore so I couldn't tell you how it works on them. I have had the loader for about ten years and only had a few minor problems with it. I like mine.

I have the 30 round mags, 8 or 9 of them. I keep em loaded and reload inside. HAvent used a speed loader tho. May have to try one. I just love the 10-22.

i went ahead and bought one and the guy at the store gave me a money back gaurantee. well it works great even on the 10 round ruger mags.
