Anyone out there shot a Stevens 512 yet?

I just noticed the venerable Stevens line is once again in production by Savage, and they are currently producing an over/under. Marketed as the Stevens model 512 gold wing, its another turkish import. I ran across one recently in my local gunshop, and it seemed like a decent amount of gun for the price. Nice wood, good fit of metal to stock, smooth operation, chrome lined barrels, removeable choke tubes, and above average engravings/checkering (for a new gun in the 500-700 price range). It also pointed real nice, but that might just be my tastes.

So, has anyone around here had a chance to shoot one yet?

Do a search on SGW. . .ok gun, but I see some Savage Milano (Italian) selling for less than $1000. . .I would go that route in the Savage line.

Or look at the Lanber selling at CDNN on clearance for $599. By far a better gun than the Gold Wing IMO.
