The only Dehaan I have seen was at a sporting clays shoot. The guy that was using it had a 2-barrel set. Side X Side. The wood was really nice and the engraving was nice. Looked like a quality shotgun. Kind of too nice to hunt with I thought.

They are made in Turkey. Made by Huglu and imported by Dehaan (supposedly to Dehaan specs).
A lot of folks think they are great.
Recently, the relationship has changed and I'm not sure what's going on.
Go to shotgunworld.com they have a whole forum on Dehaan and all the info you could want!
Rather hunt without a gun than without a dog!

I own a DeHaan U2. And it is one of the best guns that I own. Never had a problem with it. Mark the owner of the company takes really good care of his customers. If there is anything wrong he will take care of it. He is getting out of the stock guns that he carried. To many problems with Huglu who is his supplies. He just got tired of some of the crap that they sent him. He sent a shipment back to them because it wasn’t up to his standers.

If I were going to have to spend 2 grand on a gun it wouldn't be made in Turkey. That's what the whole line has went to. Not much along the lines of affordable. Might as well buy a CZ if you are wanting one of these guns. They are fancy, but who knows if they are really worth the extra money or not. All they have now are custom grades if I understand it. I wanted to get one of their stock guns, seemed to be a decent price for a decent gun then.
