my buddy is wanting to do some swapping. I would be in the gun for around total for around $600 total counting what i paid for the gun he wants of mine.

I would too. They are very well made guns. Lock up like a vault. The standard V springs might need to be replaced after 15,000 rounds but you can replace them with new ones rated for at least 30,000 rounds.
I really cant think of a weak spot on that gun except they depreciate fast when you buy a new one, but you aren't.
