Looking to head to Montana in September with my new pup hopefully looking to get on some sharptails. Really looking for help (not your spot) in what cover to look for and maybe kinda what quadrant of the state to look at?? Also anyone wanna hunt together I’m coming from Maryland always looking to meet new people.

I would google-- Montana sharptail utube hunting videos. Those videos should give you an idea into what type of cover you should hunt. I don't hunt Montana, but I've found sharptail in SW North Dakota, so I'm betting SE Montana will probably have them as well. Good luck in your hunt. I'm sure someone who hunts Montana will help you out.
