I’ve seen that there are quite a few canucks on here and someone mentioned Huns in Sask. I’m not too far south of the border and am thinking about taking a road trip up there in the fall for a little DIY shooting trip. Seems like there isn’t much in the way of public land, not like in the western US anyway. Is that correct? How amenable do people tend to be if you ask permission to hunt their place? In MT and ND people are generally pretty cool about letting you on for birds, especially if it’s not pheasants. Very few locals care about upland hunting.

What’s the licensing process like for Americans? Is it a pain or pretty straight forward?
