New Mexico - Arizona

Post by quailaddict » Thu Dec 27, 2018 4:50 pm

Planning my annual voyage quail hunting in the south. Had the ups and downs last 10 years, but each year been able to find Gambels, Mearns, and Scaled Quail. Have not heard very many reports on quail in either state? Does anyone have any knowledge of a comparable year? I know numbers are down. Mearns are the favorite, we hunt areas that nobody would ever think to find them.

Numbers are down for everything here in AZ. Desert birds had a bad hatch.
