Hunt a dog with cracked nail
My dog has a cracked nail it doesn't seem to bother him at all when he walks or runs. Just saw him licking it. Would you guys hunt your dog with a cracked nail? Maybe put boots on him?

Re: Hunt a dog with cracked nail
Depends how bad.
If it is not that bad, I have cleaned it well with iodine solution, dried it off, then glued it with super glue.
I brought my dog in to the vet years ago when he had a cracked nail and he cut it all off and put a bandage over it. Told us to not let him get it wet. For a week. Good luck with that!
The next time this happened I put a dab of super glue on it and kept an eye on it, and it grew out just fine. I have done this dozens of times with the 3 dogs I have now...never had a problem.
