Good start, lots of birds.
Yesterday sharptail season opened in Idaho. Flushed 22 sharpies yesterday and my buddy and I got 4. This morning I went out and shot 2 sharpies and 2 huns. Flushed 4 coveys of huns and 12 sharpies. Birds came through the summer well. Dogs did great even with the heat yesterday.

It certainly was a great start in Idaho- Hunted the first thru today (Sunday) 200 miles apart. Dogs were as good as they have ever been. For some reason I shot well - 9 shots 8 birds. Pulled the trailer around - 2 dogs and myself. First night thinly sliced pan fried birds and corn on the cob- second night stir fried zuchinni , squash. onions , garlic and a little sweet and sour sauce in a wrap. not sure on the rest yet- Great 4 days away from work.
