Thanks. He has been doing great. Pointed a couple coveys. And few pheasants. Going to make a good one. Getting ready for his first guided hunt. Where I guide. Think he will do fine. Loves to retrieve. Hunts dead real good. Backs other dogs.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!
Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Seven weeks old and already got 'em collar conditioned AND guiding. How many dogs do you have? It seems every couple months you are getting new dogs or inquiring to buy one.

You should be a detective.
Well some dogs are too much for the experience of the handler . Better to sell then to have 13 miserable years.

Yeah true but then there are also people who just move em on like its nothing. My first impressions of a "prominent" Ontario spaniel person my first time seeing a trial was him trying to sell 2 springer dogs because they didn't run well that day. $200 for the pair of them - didn't want to take them back north. Guy was/is an idiot - would've taken them in a second if I would've had the space.Sharon wrote:You should be a detective.Well some dogs are too much for the experience of the handler . Re: day out enjoying the new pup working birds.
The dog in the picture is not the one for sale, the one in the picture is 7 months old and I believe the one for sale is 2yr old.

Re: day out enjoying the new pup working birds.
The original post is from Feb 2015. The dog is 7 months in the picture. It is July 2016 that would make the dog a two year old. So it appears that the one in the picture is the one for sale. Not trying to start anything just an observation I made.
I'd rather live on the side of a mountain, than wander through canyons of concrete and steel.
