Tell us more about how it became dead. Did they tree it and you shoot it out? Catch it on the ground?

Dogs picked up the track at the edge of a food plot on paper company lease land. They tracked it to a stand of young pine where I lost sight of them. I heard them open up so I knew it was fresh scent or in sight. They ran it all the way to the National Forest boundary where it went up the first tree that was big enough to climb. I knocked it out of the tree with some # 6 and it was on. Dogs did their job flawlessly. Tomcat, fangs 3/4", 21 lbs

Now that would be fun! When I used to run coonhounds they would occassionally get on a bobcat.

That is really cool. Those dogs must have been really fired up.
I'd rather live on the side of a mountain, than wander through canyons of concrete and steel.
