Rock Pile Goose Hunt

[HUNT 24/7]

There was a grown up rock pile in the field that the geese were fairly close to so we decided to build a blind in it where we had a group of 7 shooters.

Earlier in the summer we did a waterfowl hunting seminar at Becoming An Outdoors Woman & offered a hunt for two as an auction item to raise money for BOW. Only one of the ladies could make it so her husband joined her, neither one of them had ever been on a waterfowl hunt, they were in for a good one! We also had another first timer, he is a friend of a friend & also a member of the Canadian Military, he is a great guy & we were honoured to have him out for his first waterfowl hunt.

The geese came & they couldn't have done it any better! We had a great time & a lot of laughs as usual, definitely a hunt to remember!!!
