Went on a 2-day hunt in Northern NH

The first day was travel, find the hotel, check out a few spots, etc. Not to mention the fact that it was drizzling most of the day.
The second day was incredible; perfect weather, a graceful setter moving through the fall foliage, and 3 birds weighing down my vest by the time the sun started to dip.
You know what you see in Northen NH? Trees. And what do you hear? The wind if there is one. If I could retire today I would be there tomorrow.
I wish my friend could have gone with me but he couldn't get the time from work.
Of course, one of the things on my mind during the walk out was "I wonder if I still have any Sam Adams left in the frig." What a great sport and hopefully a great dog in the making. Enjoy the season.
