Very very nice! Glad you had a good season.

Nothin like looking at some good dogs while I'm trying to sleep in the back of an FL 60. Field trial in the am! Stoked.

Thanks! Always fun for me to put together a review of the season.
What do you have for a camera?
Those were all shot with either a pocket Panasonic Lumix LX3 or a Sony A700 DSLR. Except for the very last one that I stole from Elkhunter. Edited in Adobe Camera RAW/Photoshop Elements and slide show put together in the Elements slide show maker.

Doug, your videos always make me want to pack my bags and move west. Problem is I'd have to buy some horses and a gawd-awful expensive camera, give up my bearded dogs and hunt with longtails. Not sure I'm willing to make such concessions just yet. In light of that, please keep the videos and pics coming so I can live vicariously through you. Once again, nice work...and your fishin' videos are killin' me too.

If I get one of those pups from Josh you think I could come along someday, it would be hard to keep my long tails at home but if I got to see that country I may have to do it! That bugsy is specimen for sure.

Won't be long and we'll be back on the water huckin' foam n feathers at the banks!!

Sounds good. I think were outlawed in Idaho so you'll need to come down this way. However, just as a precaution we need to send you in for routine Liver Enzyme test beforehand, this will prove you already have liver damage therefore you can proceed to hunt Chukar safely here in the state of Utah.
Sorry but we have to stick to the rules

Let's do it Quill, serious, would be a blast. Caught some pics of yer pointy hound on the web and lookin' good! Really cool chukar shots - I've been wanting to get a real, good crisp shot of a covey of chuks lifting for a long time but just never seem to have my camera when the light is right and the birds cooperate. Post up those chukar shots - really cool!

Ah yes, thanks Doc but I think you've pulled off some beautiful shots from what I've seen.
Soooo many freakin variables fighting ya to get that one miracleous shot too. Like this chicken here, he/she was pulling the hold, sneak and run routine. Uphill of course. Creek had'em nailed from below and then would adjust as the bird would flee. Creek pointed this bird on three seperate occasions before I caught up and noticed the bird creeping up ahead. I pointed & zoomed the lens to get a shot of the Chuk on the ground when it took flight. Not what I intended to capture but ended up with something decent in the meantime. I'm not a religous feller but I always think that the Almighty has a hand in the success or failure when concerned with photography

Image

Creek on point with chicken takin flight as I walked in. The bird went straight up and turned just overhead while speeding away. I imagine a bead on'em
