Reasonable Preserve Hunting in Oklahoma

Post by newridersdad » Sun Oct 23, 2011 2:37 pm

Can anyone recomend any reasonably priced quail, pheasant or chukar preserve hunting in Oklahoma. I usually take my 2 sons when we hunt. I'm a regular working dad that likes to get out with my dogs and sons. I got sticker shock when I saw places getting $300.00 plus per gun for a days hunt. That puts me out a grand for a days hunt and that is way out of my league. For now I guess I will have to buy birds and release them and then go hunt them up on public lands. I could probably do that 10-15 times for that same $1000.00. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I see you are in Enid. I have bought birds from Rick Miles in Okeene and he offers hunts as well. I am not sure about his prices, but he is fairly close to you. I think his business is called Triple R Hunting services.......might be worth a call.
