Absence from those we love is self from self - a deadly banishment.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

SAY IT AIN'T SO! A fellow desciple of McManus?

P. McManus
...."It's just that I can stand all the anthropomorphizing going around nowadays."
"Me neither," Retch said, turning thoughtful. "I think it gets spread by toilet seats in public restrooms. But what's that got to do with dogs talking?"

  I misquoted my citation...had Lewis Grizzard mixed in amongst the McManus collection...sandwiched between Hemingway and Melville.

Better stick to what I know - HVT's:

Outstanding shot!! That is sweet!! On my target list to bag a shot like that someday for sure!

"There were probably plenty of mountain men who were afraid of the dark, even though the length of their expeditions may have been somewhat limited by the handicap. One could easily imagine a grizzled old trapper asking "Any sign of beaver a half day's ride from the fort?"" - P. McManus on his aspirations to be a mountain man

Practicing, practicing, practicing for the day I get a PA grouse in the lens...if I get one, I'm gonna yank the card out my camera, spike my camera to the ground like a football and move on to a new hobby...

That is hysterical ... my secretary just asked what I was laughing at.

I answered that these men on the internet know how to take serious pictures

Ah yes October when the snake sleeps. This should help keep it in perspective, allow summer to have it's season.
