I'll be headed around hayes Leaving Sunday from GA. weather is looking good but hows the fields looking seems to have been some good weather is there still a lot of crops up? This is the earliest I have been hoping to have a good time and try and get on some birds before they are even more skiddish!

it's been a dry fall. im in SEKS and we got rain for the first time in 40 days today. crops are 90-95% out. birds will have to fly back into crp and native grass for cover...you should slaughter them

I know of one group that went to Hays this weekend and got 40 birds. but they was on private land. From bowhunting looks like most of the crops are out now. Still milo fields up.
