Skid plates.

Looking for a good skid plate for my dog. I bought a cheaper one from Fleet & Farm and after 2 outings it's about shot already. Looking for something that is going to hold up, but also not a complete body wrap. I've seen some like this and didn't like them. My dog runs hot enough as it is so I want something that won't make him too much hotter then he already is.

The mendetta skid plate is a good one. I used it on my GSP last weekend and it protected well.

Hands down...Mendota Skid Plate.

I hunt some nasty cuts up here and I have one that is 9 years old without a tear in it.

Mendota Skid Plate + 1 there really tough and will last forever like M1 said, my pointer likes to jump back and forth over fence lines with barbwire on it and his skid plate has barely any scratches on it. its always better to save and buy quality then to replace a cheap one all the time.
