Opening Weekend Quail

Post by cgbirddogs » Sun Oct 04, 2009 9:29 pm

Here are a few shots from opening weekend in Arizona. Plenty of quail and plenty of bad shooting from me.

This is Benelli on her first wild covey point. She is a granddaughter of Chairman, and owned by Joe Ramos of Las Vegas.

The Gambel's d0 run, but I was able to get some nice covey points once they got into the thicker cover. This year will be well above average from what I can see so far.

That's some nice looking country and some good looking dogs. Can't wait for season to open here in mid November.

Great looking dogs! Thank god that one dog is only the "chairman of the board" and not the CEO or he may be taking a government mandated pay cut!! Good luck to you this season!

Fine looking dogs ! I've never hunted around alll that cactus , I don't think our Georgia briars would be any match for that stuff .
