Late Season Hunting Trip

Post by Pryor Creek Okie » Sat Sep 19, 2009 11:31 pm

Okay, it looks like I'll be back from Iraq in late November. I'll be taking leave from late December through the end of January. I have plans for the holidays, but I pretty much have the whole month of January free and I want to get in some hunting. I'm not too awfully concerned with driving distance, but I'm looking for something unguided, so that probably means public land. Any suggestions?

Nebraska has plenty of public land and so far a good number of birds.

If you are going to be in Oklahoma during January come on out to the panhandle I would be honored to take a Iraq vet pheasant or quail hunting.
