Thank you - it's a TV show

Post by Scott Linden » Wed Mar 25, 2009 10:48 pm

Well guys, I can finally talk about the new TV show, called Wingshooting USA. For all the specifics about the program and how your input helped, visit my site.

It's called Wingshooting USA because the lead sponsor is the National Shooting Sports Foundation's initiative of the same name. Learn more about that at www.wingshootingusa.org. The NSSF is one of the few organizations investing in our industry, doing a lot to ensure the next generation has somewhere to chase birds and good dogs.

Thanks for all your suggestions and ideas. I hope you like the program when it debuts in late September.

Hey Scott: Congratulations. I heard it advertised the other day on WHOM or some other radio station I listen to. I was going to ask if that was you. Good luck. Rick

P.S. You ought to check out Three Rivers Wing Shooting in Milo Maine. Al is a great guy with a good operation a a good price. Quail and pheasants. He also has some spaniel trials at his place. The nationals a couple times if I remeber right..
The best part of training is seeing the light come on in your little prot'eg'e.

Do you know if comcast will have it? I was bummed when I went from DirectTV to comcast and lost OLN. The only hunting show I can ever see is Pheasants Forever.

Thanks but that's not mine. We launch in Sept. It will be worth the wait. Just looking at the raw footage for planning - some great stuff from MT, SD and particularly KS. And no inane chatter.

Sounds great....there's two things the outdoor channels can use more of.....flyfishing and upland bird hunting (especially minus the inane chattering)!!! What channel is the Sportsman's Channel on DirecTV? I know 'em by number, not name!!!

Two places to watch:

ICTV, Dish Network Channel 230,Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. (East) and Saturdays 11:00 a.m. (East). You should soon also be able to watch Wingshooting USA on the Sportsman Channel (DirecTV Channel 605 and many cable systems), Thursdays 12:30 p.m. and Saturdays 11:30 p.m. (East).

I'm excited to see this!
Here's a suggestion
I have seen way to many wingshooting shows with dogs ripping birds in front of hunters and stealing points. How about doing one show with broke dogs. Not broke to flush, dead broke dogs. That's something I would really enjoy watching on tv.
