Youth Pheasant Hunt

Post by Maverick » Sun Nov 30, 2008 8:20 am

I was out all day yesterday with two seperate groups of yougsters.
In all, 30 new hunters had a chance to hunt for pheasants over dogs and I think we hooked more then a few of them.
My brittanys did what they do best and the young hunters that I had in the morning and afternoon groups all seemed to have a great day and went home smiling.
Some pictures from yesterday are attached below.

We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare.
And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made.

Thats awesome! Nothing better than getting kids involved. I'm a college student and its hard to come by people with the same interests at me because few people take the time to spark their interest when they are young. Its great to see kids smiling and being excited over activities not involving a TV and new video game!

Geez Mav... what's with all the white stuff??? He he he... we only have 3 (maybe 4) inches where I'm hunting. Doesn't mean I'm seeing anything... only saw one grouse in 2 days. Oh well.... great pics and nice for the dogs to do some work for the kids....

We were at Hullet Marsh just outside of Clinton Ontario.
There is a lot of snow on the ground there for sure.
We had a good day all the same as the did dogs and young hunters.
