A couple pictures from today!!

Post by Coach529 » Sun Oct 21, 2007 7:43 pm

I drug my camera along on todays hunt to try and snap some pictures of my Bella.

She help point long enough to snap a picture, but not much longer.......puppy ADD got the best of her. She was actually pointing an area were a covey of sharptails has flushed from when we were about 75 yeards away. The birds were long gone, but the scent got her attention.

Good luck this season. I bet she really turns it on this year.

Thanks......so far she learns a ton everytime she is out. I had a chance to drag her along a bunch last season when she was a little pup, and by the very end of the season she was flash pointing and marking shot birds at a little over 6 months old. So far this year, she had taken off were she left off last. The points are getting longer and more intense every time out and she is starting to slow down and use her nose instead of flying WFO across the cover.

Nothing better than watching a dog learn!

I started bringin her along when she was about 5 months, for short walks and easier cover.

By the end of our season she was hunting everything with me.
