One week until Maine hunting trip

After a long wait I have one more week until my dad and I leave for our grouse and woodcock trip in Maine. We've been packing everything and we are almost ready. Anybody else taking any hunting trips this year?

Went to Maine a few years back on a deer hunt. It was up by Jackman. Grouse were everywhere. Some just walked away as I still hunted for deer. You should have a great trip

Just a family trip with some hunting mixed in. Pups first day hunting (instead if training) was very slow. Pushed one grouse early in the day and that was it. Doesn't appear woodcock have migrated this far south yet.

Birds numbers are good around Jackman right now. Thursday we moved over 30 grouse and close to 20 woodcock

Eventually I'll make it that far north. Love to see some photos.
