Dove Hunting and rain?

Post by Double Shot Banks » Sat Sep 14, 2013 7:38 pm

Gunna go dove hunting in the morning, supposed to be either a real light rain, or not raining but its supposed to rain tonight (light rain, not a storm)
Will the hunting be good in the morning if its still sprinkling or after a rain? we will be hunting a food source not a water source because i know they can get water anywhere.
Thanks,
Isaac and Banks

Have noticed that around here when hunting doves in the grain stubble fields that they are way more likely to fly around and feed when it's warm and dry rather than when the ground is wet. Good luck.

Ended up being our best day yet after the rain stopped. (we also moved to a better location)
