New Pr 1

Post by snips » Sat Oct 06, 2007 8:36 pm

Gotta post a Big Brag on Jon Miles from Fl on his wonderful performance in the Mid South NAVHDA Chapter test today. Ammo did an awsome job, and pulled off a Pr 1. Jon came to us a couple of years ago and bought a pup, his first dog, and told us he was going to do this. He has done all the training and obviously worked very hard to achieve this goal. Congrats Jon and Ammo. I got some pics and will send them to Jon in hopes he will get some up.

Congrats Jon! And congrats Brenda for getting him a dog that can go out and win. You all should be proud.

Thanks, he is a littermate to my Avatar dog. (just liver) He did an amazing duck search, he crossed the length of the pond and jumped several wild mallards giving chase back across the entire pond, where the judge shot the duck. He then went back after retrieving it, and went the distance again and circled the entire perimiter hitting the water with more search until time was called. Go Ammo. I got to meet our Parshal from the Forum, as he was one of the judges. Hats off to them, as they were at it from early a.m. to darn near dark. Looong day!

Don't know about cooking breakfast, but one of them can deliver a soda (or your favorite canned beverage) to any member of the family by name.

Ammo had all sorts of opportunities to come apart in the field but handled the uncooperative birds and situations incredibly well. He is a very nice dog that anyone would be proud to own.

Thanks for the kind words. It was a lot of fun getting Ammo to this level.

Brenda, Rick, Couldn't have done it without ya ; ) I've called and emailed with 1000 Q's and they were always ready to help if I had any problems.

As first time trainers always do...

Ward: Remember I bought 6 CASES for this season ? I have more Ammo than you, eventually I have to hit something : )

Congratulations Jon, Ammo, Rick, and Brenda!

If I didn't have so many Weims I would want one of Rick and Brenda's pups. I haven't seen one yet that I didn't like and I have seen quite a few of them in tests!
