Holy crap that thing is huge! Sounds like you have my kinda luck! The one time you let somebody sit in your stand and they bring home a monster! Tell her nice deer!

Yep, the dogs got a little taste last night!

The luck has been poor the whole season! She not only shot that buck with one of my rifles.....Her dog pointed the first quail this season, she shot the first of several birds too.....If she gets the first rabbit..........I QUIT!

aaaa who am I kidding...I love it! No one better to hunt with, in my opinion, than your spouse.

I will just have to throw rose petals at her feet on the way to church this morning!

Ward,

Keep us up to date on how Dixie is doing. AS Sudie indicated, her little boy is developing into a fine dog.

haha!! yes he is a great one though. after spending the last couple of weeks hunting grouse and the occasional elusive pheasant with eric, but since he is studying for exams now, he is killing time by happily playing "dress up" with 2 year old ruthie who feeds him a treat every time i turn around. the versitile breed right? how's dixie adjusting to that nice warm 78 degrees for hunting? where are you down there anyway? i was in mobile a couple of weeks ago and it didn't get NEARLY that hot!! (just lower 70's :) )
