HOF Dog

Post by deseeker » Tue Sep 08, 2020 8:49 pm

I got good news this last week end from a past puppy buyer. Joe Jung called me and said his dog, DC/AFC Bourbon XIII was elected to the
Brittany Hall of Fame (there are only 86 total Britts in the Hall of Fame). Bourbon XIII was out of my avatar female, FC/AFC Candy's Lucky Penny SH
So next February I'm making a trip to Grand Juction, TN. to see Bourbon XIII inducted into the Bird Dog Hall Of Fame. :!: :D :D

Big giant congrats! That's something to bust yer buttons over.

Enjoy your visit to Grand Junction. It's quite something when you stop to think about all the great dogs and dog men and women who have gone before. Maybe you can take Penny on over to the morning breakaway at Ames just to say she was there.
It can be something, just to stand there and soak in birddog history.

Wow! Isn't that great. Congrats on good breeding!

It has to be immensely gratifying to know that genetics you put together and nurtured have helped a dog rise to the heights within your breed. THAT is
what improving the breed is all about and it does take time and effort....and not a little bit of luck along the way.

You obviously knew you were doing it right, but it is really nice to know that others saw it also.

Congratulations. Enjoy the experience at Grand Junction. The trophies and platters on display are amazing, when you consider the history that they represent.

Stay well.
