how can she know?
how can she know?
Recently bought an astro 430 which I use on my Brittany. Today we went out for a quick hunt in low brush so I didn't use the collar. It was a perfect quiet day with a light breeze out of the east. We hit a large covey of CAlif. quail. She was outstanding. Had her nose up gulping in the scent. Made numerous points and was rock solid till she was told to fetch. I lost her in some taller brush quite a ways out but knew she was on point somewhere. As I moved in that direction and was taking to much time getting there, she backed out of the brush still holding a point stance creeping in reverse into a clearing where she could see me then moved back in. She somehow knew I needed help finding her. What a partner.
