Here is a training video of my boy Blue River's Drivin' A Hard Bargain "Hardy" at a year old. This was the first day steady and trying planted birds, and also the first time I put him on pheasants. Never used the collar, he was a good boy. We ran 2 pup stakes, he won both, with his littermate getting 2nd both times. He finished his first 3 out of 4 all age stakes at 2, and we went on a year off for me and Lyme disease. We came back this spring in time to enter the last event for the spring, and he finished again bringing home 3rd in a 38 dog AKC field trial stake. He is a good boy. Hope to be back at it this fall taking after his AFC momma.

When you think you are smarter then your bird dog, ask yourself, "Who cleans up who's poo"?
