A tiny brag

Post by Wenaha » Tue Jan 26, 2016 10:40 pm

My setter, Wenaha Code Red, "Cody" ran in several AF AA Championships this year. He came RU-CH in the Pacific Coast AA Championship at Anderson Ranch in WAshington, and RU- CH at the California Quail Championship at Hornitos, CA. Both of these championships are National Qualifiers. Cody is 5 years old and is by CH Jetsetter X RU-CH Johnny;s Jewel; He is the dog in my avatar.

Congratulations, those are quality placements against quality dogs and handlers.

Congratulations. I am looking forward to reading more about the success you and him have over the years. Hopefully we get to see you at Ames soon.

Congrats. One of my good friends knew Rick Anderson. We would stop and get permission to hunt. We spent hundreds and hundreds of hours hunting their ranch. That would have been 35 to 40 years ago. I'm sure the first chukar I bagged was there.

Congratulations! So, is he qualified to go to the big dance, and if so, is he going?

Not qualified for the National. If he had WON outright, instead of placing RU, he would be in Tennessee now.

In fact, he IS in Tennessee right now, He'll be running some AA trials in the South East but not in the National -- yet, I think he'll make it within the next year or two..
